Introducing the Institut-domi
The Institut-domi is constantly on the lookout for the latest innovations, thanks to the opportunities offered by a sector in perpetual mutation. The continuous improvements made to both the “e-domi” methodology and the structure prove that it’s not enough to remain attentive to what already exists; to stay ahead of the game, you also need to be able to anticipate.
The Institut-domi is continuing its growth with the creation of three new training courses that will follow one another throughout 2025. They will all be based on the latest developments, to ensure that e-learning is the solution of choice, rather than “for want of a better word”.
Our strategy
The Institut-domi draws on its experience to provide you with the best possible knowledge for the smooth running of your course. The specific tools available on “e-domi” are used extensively in all our developments.
These tools are composed as follows: A well-developed subject, dynamic theory and a variety of exercises relating to each training course, to help you better assimilate the material.
The structure of “e-domi”, our methodological platform, makes it easy to find your way around. It is intuitive, uncluttered and stable. The structure is based on two pillars: dynamic theory and targeted exercises designed by our trainers. This stimulates learning through didactics. The aim is to create a deep anchorage to achieve the desired result.
These can take the form of MCQs, essay exercises or text analyses. To keep as close as possible to reality, our exercises are based on what is expected. An average score must be achieved in each stage to move up a level. At the end of all the corrections made by our trainers, the student moves on to the next module. In each module, you’ll find links to further reading on the topic in question, in the “documents” section.
Preparing for the Swiss Maturité is factual. There are requirements imposed by the SEFRI (federal body), and we make sure you master them. Each branch of study is divided into distinct modules with specific exercises, similar to – or sometimes based on – what the candidate will encounter during his or her exam sessions. It is only through the various types of tests that the learner will be able to perform and acquire all the skills and knowledge required to obtain the Swiss Maturité.
The accounting diploma diploma is highly pragmatic. It is based on the needs necessary for the learner’s integration into the job market. We have gone into the professional world and identified the key needs, in order to create quality training programs. This has enabled us to fill in the gaps present in certain curricula. By completing the Crésus module in the accountancy diploma, you receive a certificate from Epsitec, the software’s founding company, testifying to your knowledge of Crésus, the benchmark accounting software. Our accounting diploma is a major asset if it is in line with what is required.
How our training courses work
An individualized system
When a learner starts a course at the Institut-domi, it’s very important that everything is as close as possible to the learner’s expectations and in the best possible structure. That’s why any feedback or comments on homework are individually corrected by qualified, experienced teachers. Your e-mails receive a personalized response. Should you require a videoconference on a specific subject, don’t hesitate to contact the trainer responsible for his or her branch via his or her “Google calendar”. This calendar lists the times when the teacher is available.
Compatible with your career
To succeed in our courses, you need to work between 20 and 25 hours a week for the Maturité. Between 15-20 hours for the accounting diploma. These study times are based on your availability. Thanks to this configuration, your professional or sporting career has very little impact, since you set the pace.
An adapted work rhythm
The aim is to achieve your goal by adapting your studies to your work schedule, according to your availability. With the help and support of our trainers, you can complete this distance learning course at your own pace. Progress in your course is based on a pre-established syllabus from the Institut-domi, enabling you to see all the aspects in the respective training courses, and those to come.
A methodological platform
Our powerful, instinctive and dynamic LMS (Learning Management System) offers, beyond its primary learning function, various types of exercises, a community and a console with your progress. This gives you a complete, up-to-date picture of your performance. The platform was developed in 2019 and is constantly being improved. You have your own console listing all the exercises submitted and/or corrected in all branches. This enables you to see exactly how far you’ve progressed in your course.
